Day 1 - Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
We’ll pick you up from your Nairobi hotel bright and early in the morning, commencing our journey towards Masai Mara. While the drive might span five to six hours, the ever-changing and picturesque landscapes will make the time fly by, only interrupted by the pang of hunger signaling lunchtime. Before you know it, you’ll find yourself in the embrace of Mara. Following a satisfying lunch to appease your appetite, you’ll embark on an afternoon and evening game drive. Anticipate a plethora of sightings – from grazers engrossed in their dinners to contemplative predators pondering their next catch, along with the graceful presence of birds and the breathtaking beauty of nature. Your camera will surely be occupied capturing these moments; be sure to leave room for the wonders that tomorrow holds.
Day 2 - Masai Mara National Reserve
A hearty breakfast at your lodge will fortify you for an enthralling day ahead, accompanied by a picnic lunch along the journey. This complete day in Mara guarantees remarkable sights, with expectations set not only on encountering the renowned Big Five – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard – but also the extended Big Nine, which includes the cheetah, hippo, giraffe, and zebra. Your path will intersect with various mammals, such as antelopes, gazelles, bushbucks, elands, hartebeests, wildebeests, hyenas, mongooses, and a multitude more. Among the treetops, you’ll glimpse swinging monkeys, while the sky will be adorned with eagles, hawks, and vultures, ready to grace your photo album.
As the day of exploration comes to a close, we’ll guide you back to your lodge for a satisfying dinner.
Day 3 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi
Rise before the break of dawn to embrace the sunrise over Mara. Witness the predators as they become lively, returning from their hunts, while the sun bestows its gentle caress before the heat intensifies.
Following a hearty breakfast, your journey continues with another exhilarating game drive, bidding farewell to Mara bit by bit. While en route to Nairobi, a delightful picnic lunch awaits, setting the stage for your return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
