8 Days / 7 Nights: Amboseli/ Lake Bogoria /Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara.
Day 1: Amboseli
Arrive at the JKI airport and will be picked up by our company’s representative and after, proceed to Amboseli via Namanga arriving in Amboseli early afternoon in time for lunch. After lunch have an afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge/ Oltukai lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in this park, which lies in a dried up Lake bed. There are swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which give permanent water to the wildlife. The animals seen here include lion, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, plains game and the rare Taita weaver and the gerenuk. The animals are mainly found around the Ol Kenya swamp. If the weather is clear and there is low cloud cover, you may see the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which forms a beautiful backdrop to the park. The observation hill offers a view of the entire park and beyond. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge/ Oltukai Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Bogoria
After breakfast, have a game drive enroute which you may see plains game, zebra, antelope, lesser kudu, ostrich and large herds of elephant as you leave for Lake Bogoria via Nairobi, have lunch in Nakuru. After leave for Lake Bogoria to view flamingos and the hot springs. Lake Bogoria is a shallow soda lake hosting thousands of pink flamingoes, a large number of other birds and the lesser kudu. Scalding hot springs and geysers at the southern end of the lake spurt and steam their alkaline waters. The bubbling of hot springs, hundreds of singing weaverbirds and a million flamingos feeding in the bluish water presents a rare scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, leave for Lake Nakuru. Arrive Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive which will reveal a prolific bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stock among others. Waterbuck and Cape buffalo can be seen near the shoreline. Rothschild’s giraffe and the white rhino are additional attractions among other species of plains game and cats like lion. You will also be able to pay a visit to the Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls. You may also be lucky to see the elusive leopard in the acacia forest. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning breakfast and after depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara to arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Mara Simba/ Keekorok Lodge.
Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives, exploring the reserves amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary and its been made the eighth wonder of the world due to its spectacular annual wildebeest migration. Over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Mara Simba/ Keekorok Lodge.
Day 7: Nairobi
After breakfast leave the Mara for Nairobi with game drive en-route, arriving Nairobi to check in at Laico Regency.
Day 8: Nairobi
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure
